Collaborated with editors in the story planning, structure, and design for the magazine and its 1 million+ audience. Responsible for the management and design oversight of the art department for the Creative Director. Design of the “World’s Best Awards” special issue (which involved first time pull out maps). As Art Director, the team won two 2017 Luce Awards for Best Magazine Design and Feature Photography. Selected samples below.

The World’s Best
Art directed and designed the annual World’s Best Awards package. Restructured the list to be more organized and easier to navigate. This also involved commisioning, art directing and designing their first ever World’s Best Hotel Finder map.
Upgrade
Designed and crafted the larger packages, including the regular Upgrade package. This involved working with editors in structuring stories around trending themes, and commissioning illustration.
